Get Involved |
Not only can you help out at the school by being a room parent, but there are also many other ways you can give of your time to help improve the overall quality of your child’s education by being active in the DES PTO. |
A great way to get involved is to join a committee that interests you. If you have a passion for a particular committee's responsibility, or feel that a given responsibility is not being properly addressed by a committee, then we want your help. |
We are challenging all parents to volunteer in the school or at home a minimum of 10 hours per semester. You will be asked to Log Your Volunteer Hours. |
The Tiger Fund is the primary fundraiser for the DES PTO. It's an easy way of raising funds for our school - no wrapping paper or candy to sell; no bothering your friends and neighbors to sponsor your children. Best of all, every dollar contributed stays at DES. In addition, your contribution is 100% tax deductible and many employers will even match your contribution! Donations are accepted in the form of cash, check or credit card. You can also Donate to the Tiger Fund online! |
Stay Informed |
