ANNUAL REGISTRATION REMINDER

If you have a new student, you only need to bring your printed approval letter or show it on your phone. You do not need to access Infinite Campus at this time.

Returning students will need to have an updated proof of residence uploaded to the Infinite Campus Portal. Once the proof has been verified, parents will receive an approval letter. The approval letter must be shown at Open House. You may show the approval letter from your phone or bring a hard copy. View detailed instructions here.

What is the PTO?

The Dunwoody Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501(c)3 non-profit. The PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in the classroom, raises funds and volunteer time for materials and experiences outside of the school's budget, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. The Tiger Fund is DES PTO's primary fundraiser for its operating budget, and it provides programs and services for DES that are not covered by Dekalb County school taxes.

PTO registration consists of:

• PTO Membership Dues ($5) - PTO members have voting rights at PTO General Membership meetings.
  
  
• Student Dues ($40) - Dues provide $150 to each teacher for classroom supplies and includes the light blue DES Field Trip Shirt, which is encouraged to be worn during all field trips and can also be worn to show school spirit, especially on Spirit Wear Fridays!
  
  
• Tiger Fund Donation (donate at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Level) - The Tiger Fund is the primary fundraiser for the PTO's operating budget. Your tax-deductible donations support: staff training/educational conferences, Staff Appreciation, facilities improvements, family events, classroom technology and supplies, and student enrichment opportunities. All families that donate at the Gold Level ($300) or higher are eligible for the Fast Pass at Open House (early access between 7:30am and 8:30am and expedited line throughout the day). Details on perks at each donation level are below and on the form.
